Grab your first week for $44 for in-person, at studio experience. This is only available to students who are brand new to floo-id YOGA and local residents. This is a great way to get started on your fitness journey. You will begin to see all the benefits a regular practice has to offer you.

  • Avoid eating 2 hours before your session and drink plenty of water both before and afterwards.
  • Wear fitted exercise clothing that you can move in.
  • We have a variety of offerings both heated and non heated. Be sure to sample all of them.
  • Make your mind up to practice a minimum of 3 times/week. The more you practice, the better you will feel.
  • Take your second session within 24 hours of your first one to help alleviate any soreness that you may experience.
  • Let go of expectations and enjoy the journey of your practice.

What do I need to do to prepare for my first session?

Come prepared with the right clothing. Moisture wicking material is the best. The more you cover your body, the warmer you will feel. Sweat is your cooling agent.

Drink Plenty of Water so that you are hydrated before you begin.

Is Inferno Hot Pilates for beginners?

Yes! This practice is for all levels and is considered a self paced class, meaning you do the best you can and modify when you need. There is always something to do, if you cannot perform one exercise, the instructor will offer modifications. By doing what you can, you will begin to develop more strength and stamina and you will eventually be able to do more. Plus it's a blast!

What are some of the benefits of working out in the heat?

There are so many benefits to working out in the heat.

What is the temperature?

Our Original Hot Yoga and floo-id YOGA is set to 105 degrees with 40% humidity. Inferno Hot Pilates is set to 95 degrees with 40% humidity. We do not heat our Small Group Personal Kettlebell Training sessions. Our heated room is controlled with a fresh air exhaust and we pride ourselves in keeping the temperature consistent throughout your session.

What should I wear?

Wear moisture wicking clothing. Women wear leggings or compression shorts with athletic bra and/or tank. Men wear moisture wicking shorts and top. No shoes required.

How often should I practice?

We recommend 3-4 times/week to receive the maximum benefits of your practice. We know life gets in the way sometimes so we recommend scheduling in your practice, that way it helps keep you accountable. Of course, one day a week is better than none. Just know the more you practice, the more benefits you gain and the better you feel.

What if I can't do all of the poses or exercises?

We encourage you to do your best, whether that is everything or just what you can. You can always sit down and take a break, if you need. Our studio is very welcoming and a great place to start whether you are a beginner or advanced.

What do I need to bring to class?

Please bring a yoga mat, large towel, water or reusable water bottle. We do have mat and towels available for rent and water to purchase. We also have a water station that is complimentary to use should you have a reusable bottle.

Why the heat?

The heat has a multitude of benefits. It creates a cardiovascular workout which increases circulation of your blood and lymph fluid which will excrete toxins. The heat increases your calorie burn, increases bone density and improves your flexibility. Plus, who doesn't love a great sweat!

Do I need my own mat and towel to attend?

No not at all. We do offer rental mats and towels for your convenience. We also sell Manduka mats, Yogitoes and Equa towels too.

Is Hot Yoga for beginners?

100% it is! Original Hot Yoga was designed with beginners in mind. The room is heated to allow you to move into the postures easily. This is an incredible healing sequence and once you learn the sequence, each time you practice, you can explore your limitations. Since it is a fixed sequence you also will notice how quickly your body will begin to lengthen. Check out our intro special to see what it is all about!
